    Beach Paradise

A travel blog entry by anlnewby on Jun 11, 2015

Today started like the last few. An early wake up for me and a nice gentle sleep in for Lisa. Today Lisa was happy to make breakfast and did a wonderful job. The day started cloudy and we weren't sure whether it would be a good day to camp out at the beach for the whole day. We decided to go anyway and the cloud cover soon moved to a beautiful sunny day. The water was amazing and fresh like ice to our warm ...

    Santorini to Ios

... small compared to Santorini, but the beaches here are way better. It's a lot more "resorty" than I thought it would be. I can't believe we only paid eight euros a night! We met up with the group and shared a pizza and caesar salad for dinner. We figured it would be cheaper for the four of us to get a taxi to town than each of us buying bus tickets. The Naoussa port is a cause for walks by itself offering options of many restaurants , cafes, bars and hotels. The visitor may relax an enjoy endless entertainment options along with the incredible views. ...

... thing was 2 ducks swimming in the sea.
I also passed a few churches along the way. I survived the steps home and relaxed for the rest of the day and caught up on e mails and planned the rest of our trip.
Today I made my way uphill to a church that is perched right on top. Most look quite boring from the outside and inside are richly decorated with chandeliers and gold. I then walked all the way down to the port to see if I could find the bus stop to possibly take us ...

    Beautiful Paros

Paros has been incredible! This may be the 'chilled' island but I have loved it. It is less touristy and gives you a good feel of the authentic Greek lifestyle. We arrived in around lunch and went for a stroll through the main town. It is so beautiful; cobbled streets filled with white and blue houses and shops. After exploring the town we headed to the beach for the rest of the day for some sunbathing, relaxing, swimming ...
