The drive back to Chania didn't take long, we headed for the sports area with the sandy coves. When we arrived it was busy with people taking their daily exercise, walkers some with dogs, some with prams, joggers and cyclists were completing circuits if the park. We went for a walk up over the headland following a path that weaved in between boulders and shrubs, we could see some people swimming in the cove it looked very inviting. The beach is lovely, it's very long and wide with soft white sand. It's difficult for us to visualise what it must be like here in 'the season' as neither of us have had a resort type holiday.
