... under our feet. Homemade Southern Comfort and Sprite (only 10 pounds for a 1 litre bottle) joined us readymade in a water bottle. On the evenings we would find a restaurant on the main stretch, Pantai Cenang, and then find somewhere to grab a drink. The next night in, we found an awesome little bar on the street selling cocktails for 10rm (2 pounds) and spirit and mixers for only 6rm (1.20), containing mostly spirit.

... on steroids. Regardless, it was cool to see the birds cycle around and snatch the fish from the water with their talons.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM!! My roomie (Shayley) and I were up and at em by 0900 (because or our late night talking) and had brekkie. ... in the world safe to swim? When I returned to the others, Erica had indeed, along with other people, been in the sea for a swim and had been stung (obviously) by a jellyfish on the neck. The stings here are not life threatening and as Erica, as usual, had a full first aid kit, defibrillator and surgical equipment in her handbag, she had taken some antihistamine and after about twenty minutes the sting had subsided and all was well. ... I loved how simple it was and the view overlooking local life as it went past. Anita on the overhand was worried about things getting in the room through the gaps in the wall where louvers were missing. So I sadly compromised and we got concrete accommodation for the next few nights.
