... out in full force catching these HUGE jellyfish (pink ones) with their dip nets. I put the autopilot on and stood up on the bow pointing out the jellyfish as they drifted by, the Thai fishermen grateful for the ‘point outs’ and chasing them down as we passed. We chugged along under power for lack of wind at about 6.5 knots, but after just under 2 hours the full suite of alarms went off on the starboard engine – cooling, electrical, oil…plus a loud alarm.

... We couldn't believe our eyes though when we drove past 'Scarborough Fish & Chips'!!! On a quiet road miles from anywhere as well, of course we just had to go in! Neil tried the battered Dory and chips and I had grilled Barracuda. It was just ok, we were sooooo disappointed with the chips that were actually fries and the fish was a bit too greasy for me. Mind you on the day we visited there was definately no one from Yorkshire in the kitchen so maybe that's why!

... the same, expect had a big 3m bottle that mum was pretty pleased about. Had a short stop at a dress shop, where dad ended up being the only person to buy anything ?!?! Although next door was a little cafe that caught my attention from the freshly baked smell; we were given little 3cm cupcake things to try; they were basically mini sponge cakes but tasted amazing so we couldn't resist buying 10 (less than $1AUD).

... with two islands just off the coast. We also filled up the bike which cost £3!! We drove past the small airport on the way home and down Cenang beach road. It was then the raining started again! We had been so so lucky. We managed to give the bike and get in the room before the down pour. In the evening we headed out and found a fantastic place to eat. ... Lupa as it the same size as a VW Lupo, which is the car I drive at home, but in a million times worse condition.
Even in third gear this lovely car couldn't drive up hill and when changing gear it was soooo loud.
It still played cassette tapes, had no air con, well it did but it didn't really work and my seat must have been eaten my mosquitos ha ha.
But Lupa got us around and was cheaper than a bag of chips....:)
