For Halloween, the four of us planned a road trip to the north side of the island to walk through a corn maze, pick some pumpkins, and finish with a nighttime haunted hayride. Pam and Bill rarely go to this part of the island, so it was a perfect choice. It was a beautiful day, with very few clouds, and the two hour ride across the saddle road was smooth and easy. Today was a day for fun in the sun. Moring was spent in various pools in the complex. The first pool was the pool at the Bay Club Welcome center. ... hills up to an elevation over 3500 feet all within an hour. The weather kept changing during that drive as well...sunny, rainy, foggy and then back down the cycle. Did not see a lot of population, just some cows along the way. Drove up to Mauna Kea visitor center in the evening to participate in their free star gazing program. The drive itself was adventurous as streets (even major roads) are not marked well. At one point we were on a road that we were pretty sure they ...

... the hotter lava. This lava is smooth and full of cracks and large lava tunnels. When you see one with the other it looks like a black river is running through the brittle rock. I went to lai making class. I learned that the way you put a flower in your hair communicates different things. To the left- married or committed. To the right- single and looking. On the top- taken but looking for ...
