... of marine life. We even got to Find Nemo. He was here all along. While swimming along, I noticed directly under me this sea snake moving through the coral. I grabbed Mairead and spun her around to point at the snake. The next few moments were great fun, as the snake moved around and swam up through the centre of the group. A second snake also appeared and was just as interesting to watch. When we surfaced, our instructor was over the moon. She ...

... hostel to a place called "Good time hostel" - It was only 50 baht more than the previous hostel (Backpackers) but was a million times better. I spent the rest of the day in a hungover haze, then we decided to go for an evening swim. Koh Tao has the most beautiful sunsets on the beach. Here we were able to enjoy the breathtaking views of Nang Yuan, Tao and the indefinite deep blue waters of the Gulf of Thailand. Soon it was time for us to leave and make the short trip back to Sairee Beach. We were dropped where we started the day, bang ...

... most incredible fire show. Seen some before but they're always not so great. This was on another level and went on all night with such awesome fire displays. The best guy performing was actually a 12 year old boy and he was better than the rest! We got quite drunk and got free body shots and free laughing gas. We ended the night in the sea, leaving our clothes on the shore and running in in the darkness. People just leave their yachts ...

... though, where the speed boat cost a ludicrous $21 for a 10 minute ride. There was a great view point there that required quite a bit of sweat. In typical SE Asian fashion, the jagged rocks at the top didn't have enough room for everyone, no handrails for safety, and a long way down if you slipped. I was sweating so much on the camera that I thought I might break it. During the second night, we were taken to almost every restaurant in ...
