... crave McDonald's but today I craved fruit so I dug in to fruit, yoghurt and muesli, it was soooo good. Matty had the Brit hangover choice of a full English breakie. We lounged about in the restaurant for a few hours and then headed back to bed for an afternoon nap, we did attempt a walk on the beach but it was too painful. We met everyone for tea at 7:30 and headed to a local seafood restaurant for tea, it was gorgeous. Probably my favourite restaurant so far. ...

... looked in that direction again and still saw some kind black figure. I pulled the cover up over me and tried to tell myself I was being stupid and was just tired. I must of slept on and off for a couple of hours still not feeling safe so sleeping for 10-20 minutes and then waking. ... we arrived in the limestone town. The Phutawan Resort was a short 10 minute walk away but with our backpacks on and the 35 degrees it was ******** arrival I think the staff greeted us with juice, definitely not hostel standard! We were shown to our room and what a lovely surprise it was.... we had, for some unknown reason, been upgraded to the best room on offer, it was AMAZING! Beautiful mountain views, living room complete with sofa and mini bar and ...

... being attacked by them didn't appeal to everyone. (All they do is bite your fins!) When I got back I watched the movie channel and then chilled with Luke once he got off work. We went up to a cool bar and then said goodbye to a friend of his who was leaving the island after 4 months (unfortunately his GoPro with all his videos sank to the bottom of the sea on today's dive.) After giving him some advice about New Zealand where he was headed I hit the hay. ...

... it was a bed for the night! Sairee beach was one of the nicer beaches I've been to. The water was incredibly blue and clean and there was cool little beach shacks on the sand selling drinks etc. The sun took its toll, however, and we all got pretty bad sunburn! That night we headed down to the beach to a cool bar called Fishbowl where there was a guy who got up and sang some acoustic tunes (really good!). Few beers on the sand listening to good music and watching the ...
