... down from the hills we did a walking tour of the town which is quite nice as there are so many of the streets that are pedestrian only. We went to the Market Square where a daily market is held but I think it spoils the look of what is a beautiful square. We also saw some pubs with badges on the front wall and these are the badges if the different drinking clubs ...

... she said if you know pizza, gelataria, and vino you are set. We got to visit her and have a drink at the nice restaurant where she works and join her with some of her friends during their lunch break in their study day. A perfect visit to Bonn I just wish we could have spent more time there! On our travel day we did use a 20min transfer to see the Dome of Cologne, a huge imposing cathedral that is impressive inside and out. The exciting part was seeing it with all our packs and ...

Yesterday afternoon we caught the train from Frankfurt to Köln to catch up with my cousin Stephanie! The train ride was so nice and the view out the windows was amazing- so much countryside and even snow at one point! It had started snowing a little in Frankfurt as we left, but it still wasn't too cold! It was so nice to see different parts of Germany and coming in the Köln was spectacular ...
