... we wanted to treat ourselves to some Kaiseki or traditional Japanese haute cuisine. As it turned out our 200-year-old restaurant of choice wasn't serving it that day, so we enjoyed a bento box of delicate delights including Japanese cheese made to a 1,000 year old recipe and numerous different types of tofu (which was actually delicious) washed down with sake overlooking a beautiful gravel garden.
