First we went to Marie Selby Botanical Garden. Enjoyed the walk through the gardens, as well as the tour through the Payne home. We then went to the Mote Aquarium, enjoyed that as well. Went to tavern on Main in historic Sarasota for a beer. Stopped for dinner at Evies Tavern off of University ...

One more day on Lemon Bay

Hard to imagine we have been here a month already.

It has been easy to take the sun, the warmth, and the gorgeous beaches....and we have taken to daily tequila happy hour!

Sad to say we have only one more day on Lemon Bay.

We are sticking around for a few more days before we head north to but will move into Englewood proper.

We have had a great time and have met some wonderful people.

By Wednesday, June 20, Lauren and I jumped in my Vette and drove to Sarasota to see Ringling. We spent five blissful hours perusing this Florida treasure which John Ringling had the foresight to will to the state upon his death ...

John carried Beckett into the pool yesterday and today and she wasn't thrilled. She immediately swam to the side and climbed out. John tried to get her to come back in, but she just pounced on the side and ran around the pool with her butt to the ground. Maybe by the end of next week she will go in. She loves the beach. It is fun to run in the ...
