... in Bradenton! A beautiful dinner cooked by Ruthann, a chat with everyone around, and a late night swim was just what was called for. The next morning we headed to Siesta Keys, the number 1 beach in USA, with Rob, Suzy and Anouk, Lois' very cute cousin! We had to get down there early to avoid the strong midday sunshine, but it was a beautiful beach with extremely soft sand. Next we went to a market and some shops.
In the afternoon we went to the beach at Siesta Key. It was very hot.
Finally, we drove back home and had a swim.
US fact: They have dimes (10c), quarters (25c) and 1c pieces.
Hard to imagine we have been here a month already.
It has been easy to take the sun, the warmth, and the gorgeous beaches....and we have taken to daily tequila happy hour!
Sad to say we have only one more day on Lemon Bay.
We are sticking around for a few more days before we head north to but will move into Englewood proper.
We have had a great time and have met some wonderful people.
