... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.

We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!

... Tuesday had turned into Wednesday. We were exhausted but you need to keep going the first day to get used to the time change. Germany is 6 hours ahead of US EST. ... throughout my day. My eyes also for leading the way. I found this out the hard way with my distractions I missed a marker and ended up walking an extra two mile or so. How many signs do I miss in my daily life because of distractions~ and end up taking the wrong path? Hopefully I will learn a lesson when this happens. More on this later. ... YEEUCH! The rain was so bad at times I couldn't see a thing and found myself peering around my screen looking for the white line on the side of the road just to see where we were headed.
