Hotel is a bit tired and in need of a makeover. Good for families and close to themes parks.

... it was worth the heat.

All dying of thirst we went straight into a food court area once in Santa Monica and had some lunch and lots of drink. On the way out a grey haired man on a cell phone was saying loudly that he couldn’t find the store he wanted and walked past us. Now Alex and Ruth are convinced this man was Matthew Perry, and subsequently have looked up pictures of him as he looks now and remain convinced in this assertion. I however an sceptical as I feel that I ...

They had rode the Tatsu back to back without even leaving their seats (another perk of the Platinum Flashpass) and then gone on another roller coaster which took the wind out of their sails! Suck it up princess's!!! It's a long day ahead ladies!! I suggested we wander to a couple of ...

We got into Los Angeles at 7 pm so slightly earlier than the original flights. Here was the final hurdle. We originally had a car booked from ...

We enjoyed a leisurely start to our day today. Our enormous big American car transfer was coming to get us and our luggage at 10. We got up at 8 and packed all our stuff up and had breakfast and were ready to go by 9. Somehow in our 4 days at Disneyland we had gained one extra checkable bag and all our other suitcases had expanded to their maximum settings. Evan thinks we're not buying anything else. I think we're buying another bag. We enjoyed the hour in our room this morning ...

I told Marie in the morning that in my travels yesterday I had seen 2 Vietnamese restaurants - one downhill from the Ramada (along with lots of other restaurants) and one uphill (the only restaurant I saw that way). She was looking forward to some fresh Vietnamese food after all the American food we had eaten. So we set off down the hill but the place I had ...
