    Okay hotel - handy to Knotts Berry Farm

    Hotel is a bit tired and in need of a makeover. Good for families and close to themes parks.

    Our toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom, leaking down 4 floors... Sorry!

    ... to do but lay around on our beds and watch TV. Because we had two rooms in our suite we also had two tvs. So we had kids relaxing zone and parents relaxing zone. There was much excitement when I found an episode of Flight Of The Conchords we hadn't seen. I remarked that it was the first decent tv we'd seen since we got here.     ... we've all eaten way too much, so a strict exercise program will start next week. Most nights we have eaten in restaurants and the cost has been under $25/head for a 2 course meal including a couple of drinks. We found that alcohol is very cheap in the country areas (bourbons, gin, rums - 700ml mostly under $25) but once you get into the bigger cities the price goes up considerably.

    The scenery in the National Parks & Monuments just blows ...

    ... air con a bit of a pain through the early hours. Had a mediocre lunch at Captain Kidds, bought the 'Essential' Go-Pro camera so you will see some cool film, once we work out how to upload it. Today's film only taken in pool, but according to the oldest teen, diving in with a Go-Pro was one of the happiest moments of his life! It's STILL the 22/3 Dinner at Bubba Gumps was one of mine!
