I am determined this morning, even though it is my birthday, to get up early and get to the Empire State Building when they open at 8am. I know I want to be there early and don't want to waste half the day standing in a line. Paul is up first and takes the key, disappearing out the door and coming back with flowers for my birthday (beautiful) and breakfast. Unfortunately, the coffee shop is not yet open, but what a wonderful way to begin the day!

We try to get through our ...
