... didn't want. I decided I stunk, my nose was already itchy and tingling cos of this cold and the perfume made it worse. So I came home, showered and went to bed. I then woke and got myself organised to go to see On The 20th Century on Broadway...I was beyond excited. It did not disappoint. Kristin Chenoweth was absolutely incredible and seeing her do her thing on Broadway caused me to have one of that "what the heck ...

... difficult. Then we got the ferry back to Manhattan. We tried to see the Brooklyn Bridge but there was a big building site blocking most of the view! Next we went to the World Trade Centre. Then, we proceeded to drive all the way around the bottom perimeter of Brooklyn on the Belt Parkway, to see the snow covering the sand on the edge of the water. After what seemed like a fairly short drive, we ...

... Central Station, and headed underground for our obligatory ride on the New York subway. We emerged Downtown, near Brooklyn Bridge, and after a quick glance at CIty Hall and the surrounding complex, headed up the central pedestrianised raised pathway towards the bridge. The weather by this point was stunning, and brilliant blue skies was the background for views of the Downtown skyline in one direction, Williamsburg Bridge and Queens in another, and the Bridge and Brooklyn in another. ...

After a lazy day yesterday, we were ready to get back to seeing the city. We have been on the go for three weeks and are still keen to see and do so much more.

We decided to head out to the NYC library to check out a WWI display on the propaganda used to encourage Americans to enlist and enter the war effort. The tactics used at the time were amazing. Fear tactics the use of kids, images of German soldiers taking ...
