... we went to Outback Steakhouse the other night for dinner. So he and I quickly went there while the boys had breakfast and got ready for paddle boarding.
I ended up finding a nice zip front jacket which was a surprise, at the golf shop.
We picked up some rolls and fresh deli meat for lunch and had our lunch back in the hotel room. Gav and boys got involved in a movie on TV so ...

OK, well we have to say our goodbyes to Jill and the HB and get our tires on the road and head to San Diego. It's a short trip, but we want to stop a couple of spots along the way.
If you get the chance to stop in or even better, stay in San Clemente ... do it!! It's a great little spot and some good surfing to be had off the pier too! Really nice to see more Longboards out in the water that short. Not that there is anything wrong ...

... couple of bigger rides which Ewan would have loved, but again, didn't reach the height requirement. There was plenty of Lego with a miniland of cities through the US. We took plenty of photos to compare to the real places when we get there. Also the Star Wars Lego was really really cool - those non-star wars geeks, cease reading now. There were mini and full size star wars Lego with all characters displayed in the mini as well as a heap of scenes from the movies. As ...

... being trained and fed frozen mice; and we saw Sid the Sloth moving through the trees. After the zoo we went back to Seaport Village to hunt for some San Diego shirts and we had one last great meal on the harbor at the Pier Cafe! Delicious Sea Bass, Salmon, Mahi and shrimp! It was hard to leave San Diego! We did not get to see or do it all but we think the kids got a great taste of America's Finest ...

My favourite thing in California are the sunsets, they are just gorgeous. On the 1st april I went for a walk along the quay of Downtown San Diego, and could enjoy it once again.
