... toes squish down in the sand, and it is grey and a bit mud like. It feels wonderful on these midwestern localed toes. I saw more web prints from the seagulls than footprints. The seagulls were my walking buddies for quite a while. Seashells are picked clean from the beach. In fact, I found 2. Not a lot to add to my collection in the basement. I came up upon a group of people boogie boarding in the waves in wetsuit ...

... salad. Scrumptious. Then it was the hop on/ off bus back to hotel. Very hot and humid with thunderstorms on their way in the mountains and higher up areas. Still glorious here at 5 pm so we had a swim in the pool with Les doing her routine again! Very good but very funny!

When we had finished here we headed back over to Balboa park, which is actually only a very short walk from the Zoo entrance. We wanted to go to the science museum as John is very interested in science. On entering we soon realised this was a bit of a mistake. It was quite a childish place, if you have kids then it is perfect as it teaches ...

... snoop dog apparently or snoop lion what ever his name is. Once back too the hostel I had a decent siesta and then practiced a little Spanish, something I need to do a lot more of. It was taco Tuesday at the hostel which means free tacos, obviously I took advantage of this. Then hung out abit with few people before shawn came and picked me up again to go back to mex.
