    ... version of the Pisx and moan club luncheon .....NO women allowed to the men's club, and each week we all try another little café for a light lunch. While enjoying meeting my US friends ( and a bonus having Barb here too from Kentucky), after our lovely luncheon ,Carol and I enjoyed an hour swimming in the Gulf at Venice beach...she was astonished at the temperature and could see how people just float out ...

    ... be there in the heat of the day. Inside the warehouse was no cooler - fans all throughout , stirring the hot air . I took some pics and Garry thinks he would like to go back and purchase a large colourful frog , that Wilda has at the entrance to her home. If there's room, he can ride in the backseat back to NZ.

    Now...where did that weekend go? Seems like one minute it was Friday and now it is Monday morning. Friday evening Talley and the 3 children headed off for Sharkies Pier for training in the Gulf - a lovely beach area on South Venice.
