    ... version of the Pisx and moan club luncheon .....NO women allowed to the men's club, and each week we all try another little café for a light lunch. While enjoying meeting my US friends ( and a bonus having Barb here too from Kentucky), after our lovely luncheon ,Carol and I enjoyed an hour swimming in the Gulf at Venice beach...she was astonished at the temperature and could see how people just float out ...

    ... be there in the heat of the day. Inside the warehouse was no cooler - fans all throughout , stirring the hot air .
