    ... all kinds of family visitors, like Owen, Evan and Connor in the morning and then Steve and Sue came by as did Laura and Tom and then Allie and her two kids, Julia and Hilary, who entertained us for an hour or so... Laura and Tom are staying for the night so we had a great supper of bacon wrapped beef roast and quinoa salad...and some rhubarb muffins and coffee ...

    ... on a building where, as a teen, I used to go to sneak into dances and saw the Wenonah Ship go through the big locks in Port. Great day to visit... It's the beginning of the long weekend tonight and so, to add to the traffic congestion, Bracebridge will be closing down the main street tonight for its Midnight Madness sale...All the stores put their merchandise outside, in a sidewalk sale format and there are all kinds of games and music ...
