Today we cycled into Blacksburg via Radford VA. Route 654 , the old Baltimore road was serene and a wonderful early morning view of this part of Virginia. We rode into Newbern and were engaged with the early history of this tiny mountaintop village...the homes dated to the early 19th century. ... Anthony described the various tests they run on all their cable products. Crush, heat and cold stress test, twist and bend radius, strain/pull and colour tests to name a few. We jumped on the bus back to the hotel, freshened up a bit, then spent the evening at the live auction. Lots of stuff to buy, but nothing that caught my interest (at least not within my price range!).
