... we are traveling south, but you can't be sure where our plane is coming from and how many flights were backed up from the cancelations. More storms are due tomorrow and much colder weather. Today was the window of opportunity!
Announcement was made that our plane was delayed in Charlotte, but it should leave there shortly. Our flight to Orlando is scheduled at 2:45pm, so not a lot of time. We were delayed only about 15 minutes, ...

... book a trip, with full payment, you can choose the best available seat. One of their pick-ups is right down the street from our apartment at the Walmart parking lot.

We looked at their catalog online, decided to take this trip to Nashville to try them out, and if we liked this company and traveling on a bus, we will book other trips. Called them back, booked this trip and best seat available was #7 back from the front.

... breakfast of waffles drenched in maple syrup we started our hike... All 24 miles of the Appalachian mountains towards mcafees knob. So , turns out that 24 miles is an awful lot to walk in one day, we set out at 9.30... At about 1pm we finally bumped into some other hikers who had left mcafees knob at 7.30am, clearly a long way to go still. (these "through walkers" are crazy, they walk from like georgia to Maine... Like with no rest days?! Bloody ...

... but that was not his wish. He was first buried in a wooden tomb on his property but people were scared that it could easily be broken into and it began to deteriorate. The tomb where he lays to rest now was built in 1831 and includes Martha and other family members. Next to his burial tomb there also lays a slave memorial ground.
