I will also be headed to Costa Rica around the 29th of Jan for a 3 month diddy at Raices del Sol Eco Village / Martial Arts Academy so my need for lush tropical adventure and fitness will be satisfied all in one camp. ... open 9-11am and 7-9pm. We needed to find something to do for a few hours. This resulted in us finding the closest hotel they were nice enough to look after our bags while we found the local pub and had local beer at $1.25 a beer. This lead us to a Mexican restaurant with happy hour $1 Margaritas, we made friends with some locals. We were pretty merry getting on the train to Kansas city.
