... Institute and has an incredible display of Appalachian artifacts. The museum is set up as an Appalachian village. The founder moved actual homes, stores, mills, barns, a school, a jail, and other buildings that were built in the early 1800s from areas around Knoxville to the museum site. Greg and I spent over 3 hours there since there was just so much to see.

... own chariot these days. I must say it is a very nice car especially compared to some of the beaters they loan you at the marinas. Can you believe this car doesn't even need a key for the ignition! What will they think of next? My own car is ten years old and does not even have a connection for an IPOD so I am not used to such new fangled technology. I am terrified that I will accidently hit the electronic key while Bart is driving and shut down ...

... Nina at the helm most of the way while Capt. Bart conducted his business in his floating mobile office. In spite of his tasks, he wore a smile on his face because he was on boat time.

... a deer swimming across the lake. Poor thing was being followed by a fisherman in his boat but the fisherman finally let the deer swim in peace. Bart was no doubt thrilled with his romantic gift of an electric fish knife and metal glove. Oh the good times he will h have hacking away at the fish we catch. All in all, the second day of our journey was a good one with smooth cruising all around.
