Today we drove back to Rankin County, Mississippi, for the final search of our trip. After a trip to the library, which has a vast genealogical section and a very helpful librarian- we realized that this is a place where we could easily spend a week! The librarian offered to help via email so we decided that we would return to this information when we had more time.

Started our road trip today. We drove out of Dallas towards Jackson, Mississippi stopping along the way for lunch at Catfish Village that serves tradition southern food. We had more than our fill of deep fried EVERYTHING.
