Well my adventure has finally started. After weeks of getting ready and then waiting till the last few days to finally lay everything out, I am ready to leave. I'm taking off for DC this afternoon. We had a wonderful time visiting with the Denglers. Bob and Cathy are very hospitable. They made us a delicious grilled chicken meal; our last home cooked meal for the next 35 days. We give Bob & Cathy's Inn 5 stars and highly recommend it to any weary traveler. Our next stop with be South Bend, Indiana. Home of the Fighting ...

... very much are all part of a good start! We were not planning to stop here, but gave Susan a small amount of money to help feed the children, and she cried with gratefulness. We may not be able to help all of the "least of these," but if we help even one, perhaps that child will grow and learn to help others. I praise God every day that I can come to Kenya, and not only be a blessing, but accept the even bigger blessing God gives me here.
