The pins on the starboard coupler had popped and we had been dragging 1/2 the tow bar for a while, the road grinding off a good chunk of the coupler. The minivan was only being held by 1/2 the bar and had been swinging behind the bus.
Moral of the story:
1) check your lynch pins
2) double check the f.n.g
... Many times when I'd stop at a rest area someone would start a conversation about the car. I got the feeling they thought I was nuts too.
Camping....not. Tried two spots. One was a dump and had no shade and the water at their little beach area was warm as you know what. The other spot was a state park. Giant Step state park.

... hook up and over 4 miles of bike path. We spent 3 days relaxing and riding our bikes. This was one beautiful park and receives 2 peaches and 1 gem.
This morning we left for Springfield and the State Fair campground. This is one crazy campground. I will report more on this campground and the Springfield area, in a few days.
