... ride we went on yesterday when we were rafting.

We stopped by a little secret beach, tied up the horses and had lunch. Halfway through our delicious snack i went and fed the horses some apple cores and some leaves but afterwards my horse looked as if she was having constipation. I was quite worried about getting back on but it was fine.

We rode back to the ranch and sat under Sarah's cherry tree to use her wifi.

... Apparently the beetles all die at 20 degrees below, but the winters haven't been getting cold enough to kill the beetles. They have tried burning the infested trees but it doesn't seem to be working.

There was spectacular change of scenery during the day from wet, with moss hanging off the trees, to quite dry and no trees at all.

Another early day tomorrow - heading further north still.
