    ... away from her babies. I guess the owner was freaking out and someone in a kayak got a hold of the dog and led him back....the lab was "very tired" she said.

    I think in the meantime, I'm going to make a couple trips up north to retrieve my trailers and put them down here in some cheap storage somewhere.....I'm feeling some creations coming on. Carol Wheeler got my tractor sold so I've got some more investment money's been a blessed day!

    ... BBQ. It was a little after 11am and the line was already forming outside. Their serving style is a lot like Smitty’s BBQ in Lockhart in that you pick out your meat at the smoker and then go inside to select your sides and drink, pay, and then sit down on long picnic tables.     ... Later, we suffered through a poor showing of the Cowboys in their loss to the Eagles.

    Friday, we drove to Vickie and Jack's house outside DeLeon and were treated to a very tasty Thanksgiving meal - is there a trend here? We got to spend some time with them and Logan, their grandson. We got in their ATV and drove around their property to check out their deer feeders and cattle. Can't wait to see the pictures of the finished restoration of their Mustang!

    Welp it's 5am and we are off! Woke up to realize my(Shelby) wisdom teeth are coming in whoopee so we will be making a pit stop for some Orajel on the way. But at any rate we are headed that way very early, in fact we got to the donut store before the donuts were even made. There really should be some law about having to be up this early, ...

    ... armadillo! I hope there will be more.
    This is the road trip picture I had in my mind... warm wind blowing in the open windows...Chum yelling "Moo" at the cows...a little singing (me) and being totally without an agenda. I felt really blessed today in spite of some automotive challenges.
