    ... were Natural Light quart bottles! It must have been some guys dumping grounds. Anyway we took our treasures back to the gathering point. Sue found a Frisbee, a bent cell phone and a softball, I found a baseball in surprisingly good condition. They were giving away prizes for the most unique trash, the most trash and I'm not sure what else, but we were anxious to hit the road so we left before they handed out any prizes. ...

    ... and got our spot. It turned out to be beautiful and the weather was perfect. A couple of hours later, some people came with horses and that was of course fun for me to see. Tom and I didn't do anything except take Sheeba for a short walk, eat wonderful fajitas, and sit outside to enjoy the weather. It was a relaxing day.

    Again here, not much to say, just on the road from Texarkana to Tye Texas. The biggest highlight today was going through Dallas Texas. We actually took the ring road but that was a distance of 55 miles, one and a half hours, with traffic and all! What an experience. Actually was better than we expected.     ... over there on the hill" and she kept asking "what hill?" Since she is from Seattle and I am from South Texas, we have very different definitions of "hill". Turns out a small mound of dirt does not qualify as a hill in her eyes, go figure! I had to remind her that not all of Texas is as flat as where I am from but truth be told, you can see damn far in Texas cause there's nothing to obscure your view!
