    ... Korean War memorial and finishing at the Abraham Lincoln memorial. All the architecture and buildings were incredible, such detail and the unique designs were awesome!     ... Enjoyed the dramatic coast line of Oregon & Northern California. Awe struck by the majestic Redwoods. They were amazing.
    Soaked in the beauty of Lake Tahoe & our hikes there were fantastic. We marveled at the Rocky Mountains & the national park there.

    I am an addict for the American West but may plan a southeast road trip loop next...

    ... I would have gone below to join him for dinner by going through the forward torpedo room hatch!)

    After our tour of the boat, we continued walking towards the Hall of Fame and came upon a row of food trucks, so we stopped to get some lunch, which we then ate while sitting on some benches in the park. Finally arriving at the Hall, we spent the better part of two hours looking at the exhibits and listening to the music.

    This is where we stayed the first night. We ended up having to go to the weigh scales on our way out, and to gas-up. We didn't leave Virginia until about noon. :\ We went through the mountains of Maryland and West Virginia, then entered Pennsylvania.
    Our route was :

    From Winchester, VA we went to the Flying J weigh scales. From there we went up route 522 and through Morgan County, WV. Once in Hancock, MD, we trekked west ...
