    Day 58. Wednesday 22
    July 2015

We drove through the Lakes of the Ozarks, very pretty but busy. Lots of lakes and boats and holidaymakers. We looked at the date and made a decision that after St Louis we needed to head south-east (so we will have to save Chicago for next year – sorry Laura).
Our new friend, Diana had told us of the Johnson’s Shut-ins State Park so we headed there and camped the night.

Arrived in this historic home built in 1904 on June 19th. It is an amazing home. They have tried to keep it true to the era in which it was built.

... which is our minimum goal each day so we're very p,eased with our progress. Tomorrow we plan to leave VERY early so we'll be able to get out and do some site seeing.

Tomorrow we should hit Oklahoma, Texas and land in Arizona... At least that's the plan! Lol! I'll post more as we go although I don't know that I'll be able to on a daily basis but I plan to at least once or twice a week!

    Miss you all!!
