      ... very kind of Jill.  By the time dinner was finished (completed by a wonderful lemon pie made from the lemons in the backyard), got the bags in and got the kids off to bed it was time to head that way ourselves.       ... supermarket. Our transport back to San Fransisco covers dinner, so we needed something to snack on during the ride that wasn't as sweet or gross as breakfast. I found a roast beef wrap and a few other things, and we went back to the hotel to grab our bags.

      We caught a taxi out to the bus terminal, where I found out that I had misread the departure time for our first bus. Basically instead of 2.35pm, I read 12.35pm; super awkward. Luckily there were a few little shops ...

      ... 8217;t let me down this time either; wine & cheese tastings in the basement on Monday night, Karaoke in the theatre room Tuesday nights (yes it has its own little cinema & yes I did a couple of songs) & endless free walking tours, pub crawls & events available – places like this make solo travel easy.       ... lights, a few tears got shed and a reminisce of what an a almazing trip we have had. After the boat trip we headed to the players bar on pier 39 for some goodbye drinks and food.       Today would be another cycling day! We were going to ride out to the Marin Headland which is over the Golden Gate Bridge and to the west. It is voted number 1 on TripAdvisor.
      I had ripped my shorts on the nose of the bike saddle so we picked up some new ones from a sports warehouse on the way. They were a bit dodgy. VERY short. I have exposed 8 inches of white thigh that hasn't previously seen the light of day, only 1inch to go. Luckily there is a Lycra onion ...
