    ... to put a car in there, you can hardly get to the back of it safely. It's "find a safe piece of "whatever" to put your foot on and hope for the best". It is now neat and tidy with shelves and a spot for everything. Even the blue bins are hung up! What a wonderful homecoming. Thanks guys, and gals. I am so proud of you all and love you more than you can know. I'm glad to be home with all of you. xoxox

    ... My mom said she used to think her cousins were so handsome. They were!
    Stuart's daughter-in-law told my mom that she'd known her husband since she was 15 and admitted to secretly having a crush on Cousin Stuart too! It was very funny.

    ... went to bed last night it was so cold that I wore my toque and gloves. I regret nothing.
    - My retirement beard is coming in nice and thick.
    - We made our first legit meal over an open fire and had steak fried up on aluminum pie plates along with baked potatoes and shelled peas. Sounds ghetto… and it was. We thought it was going to be a disaster but it was delicious!

    August 16th – A Circular Tale
    So glad to be back in Canada – we were instantly aware of
    the differences! The first big difference we noticed was the better road surfaces. For some reason, the eastern states use concrete rather than asphalt paving. It is
    hard and bumpy, with regular cut lines in the concrete acting as expansion
    joints. Headache time! Also, we didn't experience the same
    aggression among drivers ...
