Jenny and I really enjoyed the horse riding. Janine is very experienced so put us at ease and took us on a nice route throughout the land behind their house. The route included a pond crossing! This was very exciting for Jenny as her horse was not so keen! Haha. Jenny got across, then so did I. Janine waited for us to cross then crossed the pond ...

... until midnight. I'll be 10 hours in Vienna. Of course, there was some chaos as we were all boarded onto our flight when word came that Washington was closing for at least one hour. We sat on the tarmac but when the one hour was extended to two, we were deplaned. I managed to get to an agent quickly but figuring out a new route for me was difficult. It's a go...in just over a month I'll be departing Canada for my second European visit. The first one, over 3 decades ago, was to England. Looking back now, I didn't appreciate the historical significance of Bath or the Tate Gallery. I remember the pubs all so well!
