Highlights since last post have been timing my composting of the fall vegetable display with the sunset. (It's hard to mind having your hand stuck in rotten pumpkin when there's a burnt pink sky and pine trees on your horizon.) And cutting down a dead vine with a gigantic ...

It's a go...in just over a month I'll be departing Canada for my second European visit. The first one, over 3 decades ago, was to England. Looking back now, I didn't appreciate the historical significance of Bath or the Tate Gallery. I remember the pubs all so well! My fascination with cathedrals and the likes was solidified after reading Follett's Pillars of the Earth and World Without End. It'll be fun and amazing, I can feel ...
