Boy is it hard to wake up this morning! I'm thinking a second cup of coffee is in order. Let's see.....what all will we need today? Camera's, map, binoculars, comfortable shoes, picnic lunch and some drinks. That ought to do it. We are up and out the door by 7:00am. We'll head north on 41 out of Fresno up into the south entrance of Yosemite.

... I had to put my hood on. The last part was difficult but I made it.
At the top I fell but luckily didn’t hurt myself. Rachel was way way down there
but got some good pics. After a few mins I walked back down and my legs were
shaking by the time I made it. We walked back down to the truck taking many

... moving along ahead of me and I knew I had to try. Eventually I found my stride in a pace that did not tax me and we walked slowly to the top. And I gave the man credit for my courage. And that made him smile.

The view at the top was worth the work. It would have been even better if the haze had lifted. But in my mind it was a total success and the view was perfect. After taking photos, we made the walk back to the bottom and at the end of the trail ...

... who we were "celebrity visitors" (his words,not mine) then he said there was a news reporter from ABC there and she wanted to interview us!! My sister Marla was quite reluctant at first ( she's kinda shy) however at my insistance I managed to convince her to agree to the interview. We were introduced to ABC local reporter, Stephanie Stone, and it kinda went like this.......................
