... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs. Bryant, AR-Mesquite, TX

Took our time this morning getting out the door. Fortunately, Holden woke up feeling like himself. It was pouring rain when we left but it cleared up once we got 30 minutes down the road.
