He greeted us with enthusiasm, saying it was great to hear us talk. He has relatives in Rockhampton where Glestelle and Tom come from. It is a small world. We stayed at the Walkabout RV Park for two nights.

I have a few Aussie songs on my play list, mainly John Williamson along with Men at Work, Peter Allen and the song “I Am Australian” by the Royal Australian Navy Band.

Another day on the road today! Hayley drove 300 miles through North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, then I did the last 50 miles to Kingstown, Georgia which is just outside Florida.

... 2 years, they were moteling it through the cold weather! We met up with Anne & Arch again & they took us to games night to play Mexican Train Dominoes - it was fun but I didn't know dominoes had so many rules!! We also played Left, Right Centre which was also lots of fun, especially if you play with money!! I must look around for it!! Well that's Georgia done, back to Florida where the sun shines & the oranges ...

... night. The cabin had been made by his grandfather in the late 1800s and the floors were all crooked and the building was really old but it was pretty awesome. The water on site was sulphuric so although it was totally clean and good to drink, it smelled like the strongest rotten egg smell you could ever imagine. Showering was a little tricky with that stench but luckily it was a great shower so it evened out. The night was quiet and warm so we slept ...

... dropped to the floor thinking lower was better! That did make typically unflappable Jeff sit up and take notice but he had already identified a safety area on the campground if needed so he quickly recovered. Happily, soon after that incident the rain started and the wind calmed down. It wasn't necessary for us to evacuate to Jeff's "safe place" in the cinder block bath house and life was good for another night!
