The next day we decided to tick off the number one thing to do in Skopje; Matka Canyon. There's a local bus that goes straight there from the bus station, so walked over there and jumped on with no drama. ... liquors). The people are friendly, but the party is moderated by a 12:00 p.m. cutoff on every day except Friday and Saturday, and I was here Tuesday through Thursday nights. Plus, like Kosovo, the country is quite poor and has 30% unemployment, so there is a lot of drink/coffee nursing. They know how to make that 1 Euro cuppa at a cafe last.
