... trip....we thought we'd attach a rough route that we have provisionally planned as not all of you have seen it yet. I'm sure we will find other places on the way and change our plans...but attached is a rough idea. Basically we plan to head to Colorado first to allow us to look into jobs and housing...maybe do some hiking and mountain biking. We will be visiting Grandma tonight and maybe going to a wing place as its 50 cent wings on a Monday - Darren LOVES his wings!!
Not too much else to report....just trying to decide when to leave and starting to make a plan and check we have everything we need. Exciting times!

Next we picked up Ashley and made our way to DeBrands (www.debrand.com) for a tour and some free samples. As usual, we had some delicious samples of caramel, ice cream and other yummy tasters. You always get $5 of a purchase for going on the tour so between us we shared a chocolate sundae and a turtle cheesecake....we struggled but just managed to finish it off! Hard work, but someones gotta do it, right?!?

Today we were super excited to go spend as much time as possible at the Zoo! Fort Wayne Childrens Zoo is around a 15 minute drive away and is celebrating its 50th year being open. Most schools started back up today too so we figured it wouldn't be nearly as busy (most schools here break up from school in June and have around 2 months off so head back in August).

Darren also wanted to visit 'Sweetwater' which is a HUGE music retailer. We walked in and right in front of us as part of a display was a VW split screen! We looked around the store at all of the guitars and then walked around the rest of the building. It was a way bigger place than we expected but a huge part of that is warehouses and offices for staff. It looked like a sweet place ...
