With our heads in the clouds, we left Nordkapp and headed south. When we knew that we would be coming to Norway, we asked a Brisbane-based friend of ours, who happens to be Norwegian, what we should go to see in Norway. ... t. As it was the beginning of a long week-end in Holland-and the cabins were fully booked-we had to bite the bullet & tackle the headwind across the bridge. Hannah did well to battle the elements & we finally made the crossing in 3 hours. We stopped for a snack and got out our stove to make ourselves some hot cuppas as a reward. The girls had fun rolling down a nearby dyke.

... and it’s an experience that we won’t be in a hurry to repeat! The only benefit was that we arrived in Amsterdam early in the morning of 26 April, which is Koningsdag (King’s Day) and it would have to qualify as one of the craziest days! Everyone wears orange-coloured clothes, people seem to clear out their homes of old or useless stuff and sell it at roadside stalls. Lots of stalls where you can buy food, drinks, orange clothes and/or hats, ...
... might be useful if want to see something :) In contrary to Neil, no worries about lack of sleep, cause I probably sleep the entire flight. I'd welcome any idea's for fun things to do on a plane or while waiting at the airport, without using any reference to the word 'bomb' in your suggestion ;).
