... great centre of mass, the earth. If we want to move away from that center we must expend a lot of energy. So we're dog-tired. We came to this place and were greeted by a fall that mostly went under the bridge but also drenched us quite liberally. On the hill was a hotel and Greg looked at it and said "This is where I stop today." Who am I to argue?

Yesterday's blog was all about how expensive everything is and how I'm not sure if we are being ripped off as tourists or if things are just expensive in general here in Norway for a reason that I'm not aware of. From Flam we take the train to Myrdal - one of the most scenic train trips in Europe. From there we catch another train back to Bergen.

The morning was spent on a boat in the fjord. On our way to the Sjonenfjord we travel ...

Well we managed to squeeze a lot into one day in Oslo! We began our day taking a ferry to the island of bygdoy, where the Viking ship and kon tiki museums are. They found three Viking ships built in the 800s, yes 800s not 1800s, and two are very much intact! One had beautiful carvings and was used solely as a tomb for royalty and the other two were war ships and became tombs for chieftains once the ship was out of service. The clay from the bottom of the fjords help preserve the ships ...
