    ... a bit out of the way for getting to Salzburg but many pretty scenes, houses and mountains were evident on the road there. This little town is very pretty indeed – high, snowy mountains and a great big lake. Plenty of pretty little houses also.     We finally wandered back out of the old town around 8:00 and headed back up to the restaurant we ate at the first night in Salzburg called Bausto. Because the waiter indicated it may rain tonight we ate inside. Cheryl had the Tyrloean dumplings (as selected by the waiter), I had the same pizza and salad and we each order a Trumer Pils beer, the award winning yummy beer.

    At Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Hohe, we were surprised to find a four story parking garage built right on the side of the mountain. I was wondering where all of the cars were going to park. And thankfully there was a gift shop that sold sandwiches and chips. So we bought some and went outside to sit at a wooden table right at the edge of the valley.
