So, endlich bin ich da, die erste Nacht hab ich auch gut ueberstanden und jetzt geht's erst mal auf in die Stadt. Nachdem ich im Columbus Coffee gefruehstueckt habe, schlenderte ich durch den Myers Park (die Palmen waren toll) und dann ging's auf zum Skytower. In 40 Sekunden mit dem Lift 186m hoch, da wurde mir ganz schoen mulmig, aber es hat sich gelohnt, der Ausblick war genial!! Nach diesen atemberaubenden Blicken hab ich mir dann noch den Hafen von Auckland angeschaut und bin zur Harbour ...

Da ich endlich mal raus wollte aus der grossen Stadt, bin ich am Donnerstag mit Helen, der Koreanerin aus meinem Zimmer, mit der Faehre auf die Insel Waiheke gefahren. Waiheke ist nach Great Barrier Island die zweitgroesste Insel im Hauraki Gulf und hat 8.500 Einwohner. Wir haben eine Explorertour gebucht und hatten dabei den geilsten Busfahrer aller Zeiten! New Zealand!!! I finally made it!!! I am currently in the biggest city in the country - Auckland. And at 1.2 million people, it's not even really that big. There's only 4 million people total, but there's 40 million sheep! And that's all in two islands that together make up the size of Colorado. Hey everyone! Well i'm finally here after a stupidly long flight, spent at least 27hours travelling and i don't plan on getting on another plane any time soon! I'm staying at the Kiwi International Hostel, which seems ok so far but very quiet! There only seems to be about 10 people staying here at the moment, maybe it'll liven up later. After a very smooth flight which went by quickly, we arrived in Auckland at 3AM ... instead of 4AM.. thanks to the wind that pushed us. For once, why can't we arrive later! :) Ah well!
