... offering tasty and very quality food.
Let me note here that the hotel was fully booked which prooves that it has a good reputation.
I stayed three days and I had a wonderful time. My stay there did not cost much, however, the quality at Alkyonis Hotel was really in a high level!
Conclusion: Quality does not always cost a ...
... culture as well as the Greek dances.
So I made sure not to miss the opportunity to attend the Greek night, along with my companion.
I can't help but mention that the dinner buffet at the hotel was excellent, offering Greek traditional plates which we enjoyed in the company of a bottle of selected Greek wine.

Apart from lazing on the beach, eating fish and visiting the local mountain villages I can't say we have done much. Amazingly we encountered our second folk dancing festival, this one for the Whit holidays. Of course being non-religious we didn't know it was Whit. Tomorrow we drive across Greece to catch the ferry to Italy and we are hoping for a quiet drive on Whit Monday.

Once into Greece the driving was much easier and you could set the cruise control without fear of pot holes. We arrived in Neos Marmaras in the early evening and settled into our self catering room with a large balcony over looking the sea.
Now sitting on the balcony, drinking Turkish Raki, over looking the sea, 25C.... cheers.
... time at the gym and spa then by night we enjoyed our drink at the elegantly decorated lobby.
We decided that it was worthwhile to return and enjoy all this with sunny weather too and get a chance to enjoy the sea too!Final Realization: To people who love or need a small outing and change of scenery, weather is never an obstacle but maybe an ally and opportunity of a different sort of experiences!
