Walking by we spied ‘The Tree of Life’ which is an enormous, man made tree in the middle of the park that is host to many kids shows. We made a mental note to go back and check it out later because it was pretty impressive.
We chose to do the safari first because it’s the most ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Comfort Inn Kissimmee
Two Thumbs Up!
I stayed at the Baymont Inn & Suites for close to a week while on holiday in Florida in May 2004. I was there with my family, my husband and his family.
We requested for adjoining rooms and got two rooms separated by a linking door, much to our pleasant surprise.
Both rooms were clean and neat. Beds were really comfortable and mite-free. We even made use of the complimentary coffeemaker. The only gripe was that the bathroom was a tad small and the bathtub got stuck, but our call for housekeeping was promptly answered.
Front desk staff were also very courteous, helpful and extremely friendly. Complimentary breakfast was also something to look forward to every morning (especially the waffle maker!) before we headed out to theme parks. The good location of the hotel made it easy for us to access Universal Studios and Disney during our stay there.
I would definitely recomment this hotel to all - good value for your money!
Excellent Stay
Baymont Inn was everything Trip Advisor said it was - Clean, quiet and the breakfast was enough to get us on the road again - We stayed one night before checking into a timeshare - I was pleased and would stay here again - A great AAA rate and good service - You can't beat it - Keep it up Baymont!
We were very pleased.....
We stayed at this Baymont 05-24-04 through 05-29-04 and were very pleased. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was all at a great price. We felt totally safe and comfortable here. If I had a complaint, it would be that the pool is a little too cool, however we just swam and then used the hot tub to warm up. We had spent the previous three nights at the Howard Johnson motel on west 192 (Due to a free promotion) and by far the Baymont is head and shoulders above that one. So if you want a hotel that is clean, secure, close to the parks, etc. give this Baymont a try. I will definitely be staying here the next time we return.
Lovely hotel but failed the swimming pool test
We had tried on privious ocations to book into this hotel but had never quite managed it. On our most recent trip 23 April 04 I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights, early. We had intended to stay there for all the two weeks with the exception of 3 nights when we were going to Naples. Our flight was going to arrive just after mid day and my grandchildren and the rest of us were intending beinging in the pool by 2;00pm. And some of us were, but the rest avoided it on hearing comments of how cold it was from other guests . The youngest at 6 could only just swim and is only 37 inches tall, and couldnt touch the bottom. The Pool starts at 3 feet and goes to 5 was un heated and very cold. Not in my opinion very "Child Frendly" It was too deep at the shallow end and to cold. The rest of the hotel was lovely with a free breakfast included in the price. But this one and only visit to the pool sadly drove to find us to find another hotel. It faild the "Pool Test"
Very nice time
We just returned from a 6 night stay at this hotel. I used this website to choose a room and wanted to return the service of submiting a review for others to learn from. I am happy to say that we chose this hotel and had a very nice stay. All of the other reviews on this hotel are accurate. When we pulled up I was a little afraid - especially knowing it was a budgetel previously. We were greeted by a friendly face and checked into a very clean room. I walked around very late one night and the property was safe and free of any problems or noise. It is also convienient to all of the parks. Breakfast was crowded, but nice when you get a table. We did not use the shuttle to Disney because it was only once a day and we wanted to stay until closing. The front desk accommodated every request we had (band aids, a local newspaper upon arrival) and the maids cleaned our room even on the days we went out very late in the day - after 3pm! The rate I got was A $54.00 blue sky rate from their internet site. I would not pay much more for this room, but the price was perfect and we got what we wanted - clean and comfortable. Oh and by the way - I loved having an Iron and Hairdryer in the room!! : )
Hotel was just what we expected!
We just got back from our family vacation. We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Everything was wonderful. Check in was a breeze! We arrived at 2 am. We were met with a very friendly, helpful clerk. The hotel was very clean. The continental breakfast was nice. They had waffles, cereal, and a wide assortment of pastries. They had a pool. The water was way too cold for me. My son hopped right in. The rest of us spent our time in the hottub. The rooms were roomy considering what we paid. We would definately stay there again.
It was nice
I had reserved 4 rooms, one room the toilet was clogged and the front desk was a little busy and gave me a plunger because i was tired of waiting. But I think that was a rare case. My other rooms were nice without any problems. The breakfast had a nice variety. The hotel was quite and the room was very affordable. For those of you going to Disney and to the outlet shops, it is not that far away.
A Very Confortable Hotel
I was at Kissimmee's Baymont Hotel from November 18 to November 22.
Everything was good, the room (Very clean and confortable), the staff (Very kindly), the breakfast, tha price. It looks new and I think is a very nice hotel
Stay @ Baymont
Loved the Baymont!! I received everything I asked for. Front Desk staff and maid service were wonderful. We had car trouble our first day there and the front desk was very helpful in making calls, finding phone numbers and giving directions. The hotel's complimentary breakfast looked very good, although I never ate it. The buffet included a make your own waffle station and fresh fruit along with cereal and juices.
There are also several restaurant that serve breakfast within walking distance to the hotel. The hotels sits back from the main road, so noise was never a problem. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Even the bathroom was clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Kissimmee or Disney. It is very close to the main entrance at Disney.
I'm going back to Baymont
I was there in April 2002 when the hotel was fairly new so the decor, furnishings, etc. were first-class. The location is ideal being easy to find and to access. The included breakfast was welcome. The rates were the second-best part of the deal, the best was the guy at the front desk, he couldn't have been more helpful - a credit to his profession. I'm staying there again this year.
