... amount of trepidation on our part, but were pleasantly surprised with a huge clean room with an excellent bathroom. First impressions be damned. ... We then caught a rickshaw (Hannah's first) into Old Goa, to look at some more impressive churches and cathedrals. Old Goa used to be the capital, until disease wiped out the population and the capital relocated to Panaji.

I enjoyed seeing somewhere new and getting in a bit of history, but was pleased to be back at the beach after the bone shaking 2 and half hour bus journey home!
