... was ahead we went where we saw a wc stop. There was one of the many roadside diners there. Lovely girl working at Bobs Diner. Mostly burgers and chips etc on menu but there was soup and a bun so we opted for that. Piping hot soup. Lovely. We left this morning at 9.15am. The weather was beautiful, warm and sunny. We drove to Sedbergh and then along the A684 until we got to the B6259. This is another great piece of narrow hilly road with great views of the Yorkshire Dales. We then turned back along the B6270 and then an old favourite, Buttertubs Pass, coming out at the pretty village of Hawes. We slept in a bit this morning but Annie insists I say that we still left at 8.30. The weather has been warm and sunny all day. First class. We headed off this morning for an hour's drive from Dundee to St. Andrews. There were roadwork diversions in place and we did a couple of circuits of a roundabout before we got ourselves on the Tay Bridge.
