Luckily we found housing that is only about 3 blocks away from the campus so traveling should be a breeze. Thank you AirBNB. Our host seems incredibly nice and has offered to take us around on a tour and even help us set up things to do on the weekends.

Ok, we got started on the bean field yesterday afternoon, but we still had almost half the field to finish with rain coming in tomorrow. Randy went to work today and I drove over to finish the field before the rain. Another great fall day here in Iowa and it is time to get the bike out and get back in shape. They have lots of trails around Des Moines and I will be trying out the Raccoon River trail which is over 80 miles. Needless to say I will not make anything close to that.
