So today is Wed 4th November! The week before I leave to start my epic solo journey all the way to Thailand, South East Asia. The journey from A to B will take roughly around 23 hours of travelling in total! 1 bus, 1 train, 2 flights, 1 car ride and apparently 1 boat. I'll have been in 3 different countries in less than 16 hours. I will be leaving the winter low temperatures of Scotland and arriving into the boiling dry heat of the Thai rainforest. Always up for a challenge... So the sun was shining and the forecast ...
Today (Monday) is a race day, and we were all relieved to see a beautiful, sunny morning. We are so lucky that our house is right in the village of Kirk Michael, and we can watch the race from the end of the road, about 10 feet from the bikes as they go by.
The roads should have been closed by 9, and racing was to begin at 10:45, but there was a road accident of some kind and the start of the ...
