    3rd August Sunday

Bright and early morning. Rather hungover and gloomy given the drama the evening before. Hot hot hot. Didn't veen manage a pool or beach swim.

Checked out, paid for additional two nights. Didn’t forget anything.

Warning signs when pickup was a dodgy cabbie who tried to flog his wares. …

Later I had to go and cancel my card as I still couldn't find it and when we got back to the 'hotel' I was hot, tired and miserable and needing a shower, but there was no water, I was also being bitten to death by mosquitoes, which were everywhere in the room. This was one of those moments that you just can't appreciate how lucky you are to have the opportunity ...

Thankfully today has been a slightly more relaxed day than the last 1 / 2. We slept reasonaly well considering the mattress was slightly less than 1” thick and awoke feeling very much better than when we went to bed. We sorted our bags a bit and went down for breakfast. We were given a choice between tea and coffee and settled down, fully expecting a menu or some sort of planning/ ordering to happen. We were handed our black coffees and the waitress vanished, reappearing ...
