Hike back through a town that is nothing much to look at, the Don scouting way in front reaches the shop just prior to noon and holds court, we arrive after the local church bells have tolled the number twelve. Enter the shop and abruptly the lights are all turned off, we are unaware that the hours of rest are here - between 12 and three bells. Today was a great travelling day. We drove from Paris, through the Champagne-Ardenne region of France, crossing over the border into Germany. We are staying overnight in the town of Saarbrucken, which is only about 15 min from the French border. Some of the Heintzelman relatives (they are Nana's maternal relatives), came from Merzig, Germany. Since it is so close, we decided to visit while we're in the area.
