So, after all the waiting we did, we are actually in Germany! The plane wasn't very comfortable, and a couple of us were forced into seats that didn't recline (making sleeping hard, painful work) but we didn't crash and burn, so thats a plus! But anyway, we're in Germany now! A new country and continent! This is really cool for those of us who have never been out of the country before! Well, I guess that's all that has happened so far. Yes! So magically, the flight managed to squeeze in over THIRTY extra people including us! It was supposed to leave at 2am, but it left around 4. There were even empty seats so that we could move and lay down/stretch out! Very nice.

... After a few adjustments of the bikes, i.e. adding pedals which we left off as it is generally easier to move bikes on and off trains without the pedals banging into things, particularly legs! Pushing the bikes down the main street we saw a bakery and stopped to get some bread.
