      The land is very flat and on the way we saw MANY power generation windmills as well as large solar fields. It is obvious the Germans are investing In these technologies.

      ... about the stones in the road represented DDR and Denmark border. So what did I do, yes I jumped back and forth from one country to other and then put one leg in Germany and the other in Denmark. The sunrise was beautiful here but you had to be awake at 3.30am (not a problem when you sleep in a van full of windows).

      Skandi tour well and truly started especially when we looked at all the Skandi flags on the border from our night spot.

      ... up bright and early to visit the island of Sylt near Denmark. We had to get a car train which was a cool new experience for me! There was such a nice view as we drove across the dam. The island is lovely, lots of beaches and we spent most of the day eating chocolate and ice cream. I'm not complaining. Sam kept trying to push me in the sea though so I have very soggy ...
