... depicting religious themes. These had been found buried and hidden away. They are downstairs, they are so gorgeous and ornate I would have preferred to see them on much better display. Integrated amongst the art there is a very good Robin Hood experience, as well as the history of the castle, and also reference to the caves which are everywhere underneath Nottingham. ... central city are excavations of old Viking civilisation .. Really well set up as a goal experience of interactive displays and an amazing ride where you sit in carriages and go through a visiting village accompanied by all sorts of gross smells representative of the time. I am also finishing some last minute music downloads and playlist editing for my ipod. Setting off at 4:30 in the morning for London Heathrow. I will also be keeping a personal journal as well as an online blog.

I will post again once I'm there and I get chance.

Amazing WarmRoom with a fireplace which would fit a huge log. Wasn't to warm the monks as much as food storage/granary. We then 'Took in' the gardens with their beautiful trees and ponds. Walked up the ...

... research I would've realised there was absolutely nothing in Hull to see or do. I wish I had booked accommodation in York. The only positive thing to come out of Hull was talking to Allen, who was staff member at the Travelodge. He gave us directions on how to travel to Edinburgh via the Yorkshire moors and out through a little sea side town called ...
