      ... my Christmas jumper around a lot and got some decorations for my room. My block mates will all be leaving at the end of the week, returning home for the holidays. It will be nice to have some peace and quite in the block, but I fear it will get lonely quickly. I do have some travel plans for after Christmas. I am hoping to go to London and possibly over to Shrewsbury where my boyfriend is from.

      ... Australian". The looks from bouncers and cashiers range from curious, excited, confused to doubtfull. I've had a couple of instances where I've had to argue my way in. The most recent one, the bouncer took out his iPhone and googled what NSW license's were supposed to look like. I have yet to be rejected, but I've been close.

      ... It is a surreal feeling because I feel like I've been here forever, but it still seems like not a very long time. I do really like it here. The meals are generally quite good, though there is the odd bad day. I've only cooked for myself a couple of times.
