The new room where we stayed smells like a newly painted one, not so pleasant for my nose.Yes, it's clean with tv, fridge, air con, hot and cold shower but the ambiance isn't as pleasant as the original rooms they have got where we first stayed. Moreover, they have just one plus, a swimming pool!

I'm simply grateful that Totong is driving. Back to diving. Although not well known there is an active dive scene here. No surprise really when you consider divers will plunge into murky quarries thousands of kilometres from the sea, so why not when you live bedside the tropical ocean. Among his many ...

High seas prevented any thoughts of diving today so our Plan B was white water rafting on the Cagayan River. When this river flooded in 2011 it killed 14,000 and left low lying areas devastated - it's quite a river. We were picked up downtown in a Jeepney by our guides from Bugsay rafting. Bugsay is Cebuano for paddle. An hour of sucking diesel fumes and we launched high above the city of Cayagan de Oro. Our three hour drift took us ...

... and gave us a beautiful card of thanks for our time here. We feel so blessed to have met such amazing people and feel inspired to live the dream God has in store for us. God gave one person a vision and others the heart to fulfil that mission. God has provided financially to create a ministry that blesses so many people that gives hope to the vulnerable, a home for the street children, even the chance for them to have an education. We hope ...

They checked and said he was sleeping. I couldnt take a jeepney this early as he will wait to fill up with more passengers and will make lots of stops so I needed a cab to get me there for no later than 7am.

... they had never been to any of the restaurants in the mall before. In fact, it was only their second time going to the mall; the other time being when we had a fashion show fundraiser there earlier in the year, and all the workers got a chance to come. So going to the mall was a pretty big deal. We decided to see a horror film called Sinister. I don't even remember the last horror movie I saw, but seeing their reactions, it was definitely worth it. We are all laughing ...
