Travel Blogs from Cagayan de Oro
Cagayan is beautiful. Ive never been before and it was fantastic to see. A lot of my mums family reside in Cagayan and it was fantastic to see them. The country side of the Philippines is something i dont see much of. We spent Christmas here as well and it was really nice, we celebrated it at Kingston lodge our hotel and it was lovely, we then spent Christmas dinner at a venue the family hired.
... we still had to go on. Then maybe around pass 8 pm we had our dinner in a local restaurant and then called it a night. :)
The next day again we had to wake up pretty early because we our now going back to CDO and had to catch the 6 am ferry boat. But since we were a little late I believe we caught the 6:30 or the 7 am ferry boat. Anyway, from the port we went back the Victoria Suites and went out again for our lunch. This day was not as ...
... physical work, like other tasks that don't require too much thinking, it helps to sing or listen to music to keep you pumped up. For our last night, we wanted to see some bands to hear some local music. Unfortunately, most of the bands are show-bands and only play cover songs. We got to talk to some of the musicians, judging by the way they play, they really know their craft but due to low demands for original music they are forced to playing cover songs to earn some cash.
I would love go back to CDO and hear some originals one day.

The new room where we stayed smells like a newly painted one, not so pleasant for my nose.Yes, it's clean with tv, fridge, air con, hot and cold shower but the ambiance isn't as pleasant as the original rooms they have got where we first stayed. Moreover, they have just one plus, a swimming pool!
