The new room where we stayed smells like a newly painted one, not so pleasant for my nose.Yes, it's clean with tv, fridge, air con, hot and cold shower but the ambiance isn't as pleasant as the original rooms they have got where we first stayed. Moreover, they have just one plus, a swimming pool!

... and gave us a beautiful card of thanks for our time here. We feel so blessed to have met such amazing people and feel inspired to live the dream God has in store for us. God gave one person a vision and others the heart to fulfil that mission. God has provided financially to create a ministry that blesses so many people that gives hope to the vulnerable, a home for the street children, even the chance for them to have an education. We hope ...

      Cagayan de Oro day 2

A travel blog entry by nath_and_rach on Feb 25, 2014

All the kids are on holiday today so did not attend school. We spent this morning altogether enjoying a film 'Wreck it Ralf'. It was brilliant, they loved it! A film brought by us but recommended by our friends Claire and Jordan in Sheffield. Later while the kids were enjoying lunch and their afternoon nap we headed to the supermarket to purchase a collage wedding photo frame for the honeymooners. What would usually take a few minutes ...

Awaking at 8.00 this morning allowed a leisurely morning to commence. We enjoying a relaxed morning together at the supermarket before the fun begins in the afternoon. Nathan took Rach out for a pizza date followed by a weekly food shop, very romantic! We caught the shuttle bus to the supermarket easily. However our return trip was quite an experience, one that Has never been tried! We caught a plain white shuttle bus that pulled up at the terminal, praying ...

Cagayan de oro - day 8

A travel blog entry by nath_and_rach on Feb 16, 2014

We crammed 17 people into a white van with only 5 seats. Four in the front, five in the middle and eight in the boot. Happy to say no police in sight! A miracle we made it to church! After a challenging sermon on triumphs in crisis and great worship we were energized for our journey ahead. After a brief nap, we packed our bags to prepare for our 19 hour journey to Taclaban. We will be ...

... so I asked to speak with him
