Is is not a planned stay - my husband fell ill in Vietnam (Hanoi) and the travel insurance company decided he should be treated in Bangkok. They chose this hotel - 15 minutes from the Bangkok hospital - spacious, clean, staff very helpful . It appears to be relatively quiet - which will help me calm my nerves.

Another day - another drama.
As per previous post - Bob's cardio treatment is delayed due to the ***** - which gives us the *****! I went for an explore this morning - the hospital is a town - shops, banks, counted about 10 coffee shops, even more restaurants. And yes- there is a Maccas and Dunkin donuts.
Went to a cafe - first decent …

We went to the same place we had dinner at on the 28th of July I had the same chicken with a Pepsi and dad had something with cashews in it. We met Kitti on the way because he had finished work. The foyer was very plush and the room spacious and well appointed with great views of the city.
We went down to the sports bar (all dedicated to the world cup excusively) and had cocktails and tasty Thai food by the pool. Ahhh, we had arrived.
Settled in and went to ...
... tasted and took me quite a while to finish it. Later in the evening we sat down to have some street food. We both had big kebabs and a jacket potato (£2.40) with a bottle of Pepsi (40p). So far so good. We spent the remainder of the evening chatting to some of the other travellers at our hotel and playing cards with them. It's around 32 degrees now and is half 10 at night. I hope we manage to sleep in this heat! Night all! ...
... Indonesia. Unfortunately, without success, but what pleased me that she see how it works to get a visa.
On the third day I still want to buy more spare parts. I have found a sprocket (the current on is worn out to much) and batteries. In addition, a brief visit to the hospital to get my x-rays images and return to the Guesthouse. Overall, I am drove about 200 kilometers in the city of Bangkok to organize the most important. Uff .
