Today was the longest drive of our holiday at around 210 miles but it was very straight forward. Place Name of the Day: Has to be 'Bugger Cafe' just outside Thames on the way to Auckland. We thought it would be a shame to be in the bay of islands and not cruise around so we booked our day trip. It was so nice. Each island is more beautiful than the other and it is not crowded with tourists. There are about 4 boats, like the one we took, per day going around the area and it takes about 2 hours at quite a speed to go from one end of the bay to the other. Pretty quiet then.
