... was time for Afternoon tea time, so we did and shared a lemon bun. Later we wandered into the I site to ask about visiting the treaty grounds at Waitangi. We found a leaflet and think we will pop in tomorrow morning as it tells us we are literally 2 mins away by car.

It felt like being home being in Paihia since I'd stayed here four years ago so was keen for Rod to see the Treaty ground and Russell. Thankfully this time we had wheels so I didn't have to walk miles to get from town to the grounds and back. I enjoyed being reminded of the details of the signing of the treaty and either my memory is really failing or the film is a new one. Suffice to say I found it not at all repetitive from last time.
